Russian language for bilingual children
We believe there is a talent in everyone, and this talent needs nurturing in the right environment. Learning a foreign language from early childhood is to be a valuable life skill.
We are providing classes for the Russian language for children from the age of 4 to 16 in different small groups, and we plan to add other Modern Languages.
Russian is widely spoken and amongst other languages, such as Arabic, Chinese, English, French and Spanish and is an official working language of the United Nations (UN).
Our Saturday morning sessions are 2 hours long for children of age 5-11 and divided into:
- Speech & Language,
- Reading & Writing,
- Spoken Language through Drama and Music.
Where we carefully assess each child’s individual ability and talents and we channel these energies, abilities and talents into a professional tailor made curriculum. This helps children to enjoy the process of learning, and as a result they erupt like a volcano with their hidden and unknown reserves and talents. Our teaching staff is experienced, professional and loved by children.
Our small students are learning Russian language through play, singing and dancing, listening stories and acting. In this group we are actively using different methodologies:
- speech development (logopaedics)
- Montessory
- CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning)
- writing on the sand
- and many more…
In this class we are taking children from 2 years old till 5 years old. Depends on their ability they are spending 1 or 1.5 hours in the class.
Our school is also preparing older children (11 – 16 years old) for GCSE Russian exam. This is very intense class where children actively learn wide range of topics from “My Family” to Geography. All 4 modules are taking into consideration:
- Listening,
- Speaking,
- Reading Comprehension,
- Writing.
